do you need to drain all fluid from hoses and pistons to go back to super udt? It states not to mix it with any other brands. If system is not completly drained you will end up with a mixture of both correct.
I just priced the amsoil hyd/trans synthetic 5 gal bucket at $61 plus shipping with a comercial account setup. I thought I was reading that super UDT was about $60 for 5 gals. So I'm just going with the super UDT from kubota.
I find it odd that they say not no mix types when we have synthetic blends everywhere.
I had the cylinders contracted and pulled the drain plugs. When pulling the plug to drain the lines from the loader probably didn't get half a cup out of it.
Yeah Jwe,
I wonder if some of the generic types of tranny fluid and the dealer brands ome from the same vat ?
Of course the dealsers say no, but they have a vested interest and so does the oil company, so who knows.
Lets say you have brand X non-synthetic and brand Y that is a synthetic. Both X and Y are approved to be run in the tractor. Now you mix the two. What is the issue, they don't mix well? Would it make a difference since either one is ok to run in the tractor?
