From my non expert opinion, I would say the problem might be that they do not mix well, and might actually degrade the overall performance of both oils.
Just my opinion though, I hate to take chances like this with the major guts of my tractor.

I'm no expert, but I've heard of problems mixing oils due to incompatibility of the oils causing a breakdown in film strength. Mixing some cobalt based(?) greases with other types turns the grease into a thin, slimy mess, and caused a major failure in a capping machine at a place I once worked at.
As to the mixing synthetics w/udt I don't know what would happen but would hate to have it damage a $$$$$ tractor.
