Junk- you are correct, but the manual states either UDT or SDT can use used. Based on the manual either one can be used and be 100% fine.

Unless Kubota makes a Global statement you can use either and be fine.

I also think you are missing the point here. It is up to the customer to select either one. Also either one is not wrong. So if I select UDT I can put in UDT or Amsoil. If I want to put in Super Duper UDT, I can only install Kubota fluid and not Amsoil.

Either fluid, no one is wrong since it passed either UDT or Super UDT. Does not state it must pass Super only for hyd.

If anything, the manuals sucks on this issue.

The manual sucks on many issues. The problem is that Kubota Japan doesn't want to outsource the manual writing to the USA or other English speaking countries, so they try to do it with there Japanese to English translators and it doesn't work very well. This is one of the reasons that the quantities for engine oil are also wrong. Kubota leaves a lot to be desired in there manual writing capabilities to say the least. Junk....

You can use 1/3 UDT 1/3 Amsoil and 1/3 Super UDT.

You can use 100% of any of the three or any of the two or any of the three in any percentage you want. The resulting mixture will influence the cold weather performance more then anything I suspect. As the Super UDT specification says, "Super UDT is fully interchangeable with standard hydraulic fluids." "For best results, we recommend that you not mix fluids"
