The three point hitch pins look short. Could you replace them with longer pins and then purchase conventional check chains that fit on the inside of the lower three point arms?

That I'm not sure about. I'm going to try Jagmandave's idea first since it worked for his tractor. If they are too short and I can't get longer pins then I may have to design a drawbar with places to hook the chains to that will put them in the same plane as the lower lift arms. It looks to me like there is room if I use stock about 1/8" thick. I will let everyone know if it does or doesn't. There are also a couple of other good ideas posted here from people to try if it doesn't.

Glad you got a solution. I like the way Dave did his chains, they appear to give the most restriction because of the opposed connection. Good job there.
