BX 23
anyone have a solution for the stupid NON watertite switches on the dash of the BX 23. I cleaned her all up last week, and they still come on with the switch turned to off. I have pulled the fuse on the flasher, but looking for a permanent fix.

I took mine apart, cleaned it, sprayed the inside with WD40 to repel moisture, and sealed up the holes in the bottom. First push from below to pop them out of the dash. They then come apart easily by prying a plastic clip on each side. Be sure to hold the switch right side up while disassembling so the parts stay put inside, so you can see how they are supposed to go for reassembly. There is a nice water/dust gasket sealing the joint where they come apart, but there are holes in the bottom where the contacts are. I sealed these with caulking and have not had any further problems.
