I Have a 2520 that I bought this summer ('11) I have the 54" snow blower and 61" FEL.. question is what is the protocol when switching back and forth between them??? Can the Snow blower supporting brackets (Quick Tatch) be left on while attaching the FEL??? I am hoping that it can stay on b/c it will be a pain in the *** to go back in forth in cold weather..

What does the situation look like to you? Are the quick hitch and PTO in the way of the FEL front mounting points at and around the front weight bracket? How about the hyd. hoses that connect where the FEL connects? Will you have to change the hoses (minimum) and fasten the quick hitch mechanically when using the FEL, and the FEL when using the snowblower?
Curious as to what you have planned.

Everything has to come off. The loader parking stand occupies the same space as the hitch parts. It's the nature of "compact" tractors.

I've gotten to the point of just putting on my loader once or twice during the winter to move buildup piles and clear out corners and along walls.

While on the subject, we got our first snowfall of the season last night.

we got about an inch last night in RI, another 1-4 coming Saturday night. Although I do enjoy the snow, I am not quite ready for it just yet.

Thanks Ensoll, I was afraid someone was going to say that!! Ugh. Speaking of snowfall they are calling for 8-10 inches here in PA for tomorrow. Well I better get the final mow of the yard in today, wash everything down (unit and MMM), Film Fluid the Deck and hook up the snow blower. Bring it on baby!! lol

Well with snow coming my way tonight and tomorrow I will have to set up the blower tonight at that point I will see what I got I guess.

Ideally I want to just unhook the blower unit and the quick hitch house at the hydraulic connection under my foot and just hook up the FEL but we will see. Ensoll just pointed out that, that is not going to work!!! Figures

Just get another 2520 and keep the FEL on one, the snowblower on the other. Easy solution to the problem. :D

Just 4-6 inches in your area...no problem, just clear this one with the loader.
After the clean up, you'll have a good chance to read both the tractor and blower manuals and figure what you'll need to do. Plan on an hour or so for your first time changeover.
That's one of the disadvantages of a front PTO snowblower...you lose the loader.

The attachment issue was the reason i had to spend the extra $$$ for the loader mounted front snowblower. I want to be able to quickly swap between the loader, snow blade and blower without the hassle of the frame mount structure. they need a nice tractor that has front and rear loader with swivel seat so you can have different implement on each end hehe:D
