Granted, I haven't even hit 10 hours on my T2220 yet, but I'm quite happy with it. Only complaint is it's lack of power on hills. But, the lower gears are the answer, and I'm heavy. The unit had loaded tires when I picked it up.
No cupholder, yeah, apparently they want us to buy the optional cupholder/ toolbox.
The pedal. I'd rather see the two pedal setup my TZ25 had. But, this looks heavier and more reliable in the long run. I'm 6'4, so I understand the "push straight down" issue. BUT, the more I use it, the more comfortable and second-nature the action seems to be. When it comes to pushing down, I'm more apt to beotch about the diff-lock "pedal". You call that a pedal? I'm still thinking of a bolt on fix for that thing.
I had issues with the park brake (Once I found it!) too. But after paying attention to what I was doing, I found it was my procedure at fault.
Getting into gear has been an issue, but tapping the pedal here too was the fix. I'm anxious to try the clutch. Never thought of it, but then my TZ which did the same thing didn't have one. I won't call it a problem though. Anyone who drives a tractor trailer will find any transmission will have the same problem if not used properly.
A little note, I backed down the stop under the pedal for reverse. MUCH better! Factory setting had me being passed by the slugs trying to escape from the chip pile.
I'll take the comfortable seating, high rider position with nice view, quiet operation, and sharp steering as more than enough pluses to overide the negatives. I almost think this thing out steers my little TZ25!
