Wow....that install looks so simply. I would have thought the weight of the snow would have bent something, but I guess it isn't much more that holds a hitch for a trailer. Wonder if you could just do it with a receiver? Very nice....I am envious (I don't weld....yet)

I knew I'd get a comment on that!:laughing: Natty ain't bad, just takes a little getting used to. 20 packs are great, they last the whole weekend and aren't too hard on the budget.

No chains, the industrial tires and 4x4 do an excellent job, even on the hills.

I can attach or remove the blade in less than a minute, I've attached pics of the mount. The pieces I welded on are approx. 1"x2"x1/4" spacers that were salvaged from a universal hitch installation kit, I didn't even have to drill the holes for the pin. My welds don't look that great, but they seem to hold.

Very cool and simple! I think the welds will hold for awhile. You are a very brave man to weld directly to the bucket. I couldnt weld in my bucket since I like moving things like shingles in the bucket and those tabs would ruin the stuff I move.

Where did the plow com from? it looks like some sort of ATV plow?

Cherokee180- I am sure you could do something like that for a hitch, but since the pins only looks like 1/2 to 9/16 thick, I would guess it only can move up to 1000 lbs before it starts twisting the pin unless you have a square frame to both tabs.

The blade was originally purchased for a Kawasaki Mule. It worked okay, but it was a real bear to align for attachment. The Mule lacked the (***) needed to move really heavy stuff. Most of the time I could only move heavy snow when I was going downhill.
