I bought a Tanakrafter O/A setup new back in the 80s.....from the Price Club,
if you remember them. It was $100 and included numerous tips and a cutting
torch. I had to buy my own tanks.
I used it mostly for brazing, and it worked well for that. The cutting torch
eventually failed, and I could not get it working right after replacing O-rings in
it. I seriously considered buying a used Victor cutting torch knowing that I
could always get the right parts to fix it. Instead I bought a plasma cutter
and gave up the idea of O/A for cutting.
I still have my Tanakrafter setup, and it still works fine, tho I have changed the
hoses recently. Standard fittings, made in Japan.
