Strange...

I pulled the neighbors across the street out of a snow bank (in their drive) last week. I'm surprised the guy with the big loader didn't offer a bit of assistance.

Could be of liability....insurance.

Always a concern of course, but I try not to let it stand in the way of doing the right thing.

Probably a county or state front end loader which mean liability insurance and no tow rope.

It was a city loader so don't think they will get involved. I routinely dig or pull vehicles out of the area every winter. Would have helped the people in the video if they needed it - was just waiting a little while.

Tastiest snow ? Was it the rubber or snow ? Allseasion or winter tires .

I have no chains or tow straps with me when I'm operating the heavy equipment clearing snow.

Maybe he spilled a coke in the snow off camera and is sampling the slushy?

Not sure what it was all about but the driver seemed reluctant to leave it... his buddy said something like, come on lets get out of here :)

How do you hook those cars up to pull them out . I have a set of hooks you poke in holes on a unibody and twist . I do not trust them .

Maybe something rubbed off the bottom of the car and he was trying to decide between oil, trans fluid, or dead squirrel. :)

You know - the more I think about that video, the more it seem somewhat gross. Now what if that had been the Budweiser Clydesdales pulling thru that area rather than the front end loader. And maybe they did - and the video just failed to record that part of the event - gross.

OP here - Made a quick decision to create a for-profit NGO and get this stuff on the market ASAP. I realize storage and shipping (think dry ice) will be a hassle and expense but going to take the gamble anyway. Right now thinking about Canada and US only re shipping. (PM for orders please)

Where I can I hook on to the trailer hitch. If that's not possible I ask the owner to hook on underneath and I then make a quick check. Most often an easy tow... no pulling out of the ditches or the like.

Just found a video of my BX trying to pull out a RAM. Ended up using my Tundra to pull him out.

My guess is, it puked out some fluid when it was stuck.

Back in the day, all antifreeze was green. So if you saw fluid, you knew what it was, by color.

Today, if you see red fluid, you don't always know whether it is antifreeze, or transmission fluid.

If you want to know bad enough, you can tell by tasting it.

On the other hand, anyone who is dumb enough to go slow, and let their vehicle bottom out, and hang up, going over a little snow drift, probably doesn't know that test.
