If you had a KTM dirt bike instead of the YZ, it would match your new tractor.
You will be very happy with your L series. My wife and I had a L-3600 for ten years with no costs other than maintenance. Kubota parts can be pricy but are speced well. I have been somewhat disappointed by NH standardizing their filters. I bought a couple of air filters for our soon to be delivered TC-23 (for my wife) and they did not look as heavy as past filters I have bought for my 1530.
I also believe it is better to over-spec a piece of equipment a bit than run a smaller one harder. Also, the older I get, the more comfort and the more extras I like to see on a tractor.
Enjoy your new tractor. It might be worth while changing all your fluids, unless it was done by the dealer before the sale. It is always worth going over a new or used tractor just after it has been delivered. Check your bolts, fluids, and make sure the caps for all your fluids are tightened.
