At least you have something that will grow grass eventually, I live out on Strawberry Point and it is all glacial till. Nothing like a good crop of rocks after the winter frost heave. :(

Course I'd rather have that than truck springs and exhaust manifolds. :)

There has been some interesting stuff I've run over (found) but I do have piles of rock and such to. The previous owner was trying to sub divide the lot and was doing soil compaction mound style, so, I have been dealing with those also :)
The soil is mostly sand but it seems to grow about anything , bamboo, blackberry's and all sorts of weeds. 2-10 years from now it will be under control.
I am getting tired of bending the blades though! After one pass I'm no longer mowing but rather knocking it down....
