At least you have something that will grow grass eventually, I live out on Strawberry Point and it is all glacial till. Nothing like a good crop of rocks after the winter frost heave.
Course I'd rather have that than truck springs and exhaust manifolds.
There has been some interesting stuff I've run over (found) but I do have piles of rock and such to. The previous owner was trying to sub divide the lot and was doing soil compaction mound style, so, I have been dealing with those also
The soil is mostly sand but it seems to grow about anything , bamboo, blackberry's and all sorts of weeds. 2-10 years from now it will be under control.
I am getting tired of bending the blades though! After one pass I'm no longer mowing but rather knocking it down....
