Fly Rodr,

You make a good point. I want to go mid size frame, but you can quickly find oneself justifying the TC45D if I am not careful. I guess I should really be cross shopping a TC29D vs TC33D. I plan to maintain a good sized driveway, clear and move allot of dead tree stuff on the ground and build a new shed for it, maintain paths etc, and oh landscape the grounds. But the lawn will be a riding mower for the wife (and me).

Thanks for the advice, I will check it out when the time comes. Most likely September time frame.

MDNY,

I visited a NH dealer today, the TC29D was $2100 more than TC24D. Also, the dealer confirmed that TC33D is only $500 more than the TC29D.

P.S. The 24D with 12LA loader, 54" bucket, 60" rear discharge MMM, and filled tires: $17,500. About $1,400 more than my best B2410 quote, but pretty close to the B2710 quote. I got a quote for a MF 1225 for $17,200. The JD dealer will only talk retail & factory rebates, so that's about 20K for the 4115.

All,

Since the TC24D has the 12LA loader with the curved arms, and the TC35 & larger tractors have the 16LA & 17LA loaders with curved arms, does anyone have any info on a possible 14LA loader for the TC29 & TC33? If there was a TC33D with the 14LA today, I would buy it!! My wife would be shocked, but maybe she would be relieved I finally made a tractor decision. Alas, I'm still looking.

Hi BigDave:

My local New holland dealer told me that the 14LA series loaders will go into production just as soon as the current production 7308 production run is completed. His prediction was for the beginning of Sept. Then they will probably stockpile supplies of them until they have enough to ship to dealers. he didn't have any new specs on them yet.

I went with a Woods 1012 loader on my new TC29, that I purchased this spring. I thought then, and know now that the Woods was a stronger loader than the 7308. And now I'm curious as to the how the Woods is going to stand up to the 14LA.

Besides I paid $17100 for my TC35(no D) with 16LA, HD 72" bucket and BH BX720 box blade. And that was before the rebates were available. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Spencer200,

As always you are on the job for us. Can you give me a good range for the following configs using NH parts:

TC29D with 7308, HD Bucket and Rear Blade
TC33D with NH Loader HD buck and rear Blade

Thanks

jinman,

Thanks for the laugh. I showed my wife a picture of the 35D. She didn't find it funny. She just doesn't get it, but I really don't understand her fascination with jewelry either. That's life.

Kodiak,

Thanks for the info. I'm might be willing to wait for the new loader. It looks like you would have an improved view of the bucket in addition to the increased strength. Besides, it looks pretty sharp. Is that allowed?

Spencer200,

Thanks for the info, I checked with another dealer and they quoted $16,660. That's pretty close to your mark. I'll take a good look at the 24D when the dealer get their hands on one, but the 33D has me intrigued.

Do you have a prediction as to how long low rate financing will last? I'm not asking you to be an economist, just does NH typically renew their programs if market conditions persist? Does financing and/or rebates vary seasonally?

Is it possible to pre-order a 14LA loader when purchasing a tractor or would I have to wait until they are actually available?

Finally, as a newbie to TBN, I really appreciate someone with your experience & knowledge taking some of the mystery tractor buying.

Thanks,
Dave

P.S. Sorry for the initial reply, I didn't realize that spencer & spencer200 were two different people.
