Is that an all new engine design, a mod. of the 21 or 25's, or one that's been in use on other equipment in the past? If not completely new any comments based on past experience? I'm assuming that the hydro trans is the same as is in the tc21? Any thoughts on reliability of introductory model?

Spencer200,

Thanks for the updated info. I even tried to get photosuite to enhance the pictures, but I am not there yet with the app. One question, how do the specs compare with the TC25D. I realize that it is a Class II vs a Class I, but over all hp, hydraulics, etc.?

Thanks again.

fairly close I dont know if you can read it but the loader lifting capacity is 750 pounds much higher than the loader that was on the tc18 and tc21

Spencer2000,

So is the TC24D a tweaked TC21D, much like the TC29D was for the TC25D? My ultimate goal, and maybe there is thread going is to understand the main benefits/differences between Class I and Class II to I know what I am getting into long term wise.

Thanks
Michael

Until I have a tc24d in my yard to actually compare what has been updated it is hard for me to say. I think your best course of action would be to visit your dealer and drive and operate both class 1 and class2 boomers so that you are sure about what you are getting. A good dealer would even let you try one of both at your home for a few hours this is all part of the package when you are looking for a good dealership relationship.

Spencer200,

Thanks again for your input. I will be checking out the dealer in the coming month (or if they get a TC24D sooner). I guess my biggest concern or problem is $$$$, or lack there of. I need a machine for the following:
Snow removal - 350FT Driveway with a 30x30 parking area.
Landscaping and general debri removal.

What can you tell me is the major difference of Class I vs Class II. I have seen the TC229D, driven the Kubota 2910 (not impressed) but until I see a TC24D I agree it is kind of hard to figure. Any idea of delivery yet?

Thanks again.
