TC30 stalls when gear or brake touched

Huge thanks to the poster who sent me the instructions to bypass the seat switch.

Bypassing the seat switch didn't fix the problem, although I agree it was the logical place to start as a 1st step.

We did find that there is another small box with 4 wires going into it, that is behind the seat, to the back left, as you are sitting on the seat, which does seem to have a poor connection in one of the wires. No idea what it is, but pushing it in when the tractor fails, seems to fix the problem. For now, I'll go with some duct tape and hope it holds. At least the tractor is functioning again now.

Glad to hear you seem to have found the loose/bad connection. Thanks for posting your find because you may have helped someone else in the future with a similar problem.

You mentioned a small box that wires go into, any chance that box comes apart to further investigate? Your duct tape may work for a while but if you could fix the connection it would be best.

Hopefully others who might know what this box is can give you some insight as to how permanently fix it.
