That was a major criteria when we bought also. The criteria of being "wife friendly" meant that HST was a must have. Ended up going with the largest HST unit that NH makes (that also has a mid-PTO option for future MMM compatibility), this put us in the TC40D. Love it and my wife is willing to use it when there are things to do. She does not like attaching 3pt hitch implements but will use them after I put them on. I love seat time but also like to see her have fun working on landscaping the house.
