Originally, when the dark gray bodied tractors were introduced, fuse 5 was a 7.5 amp fuse. This was changed to a 10 amp fuse because of the problem you are having. In some circumstances this was not a total fix. The latest is to install a 10 amp circuit breaker, which you can get at NAPA or other parts store. The breaker will fit into the fuse holder like a fuse. The breaker will come with contacts that can broken off at preset lengths so it will fit in the place of the fuse.
As for the wiring diagrams, the early books for the dark gray tractors had several errors. All the diagrams posted are for the dark gray tractors, just different issue dates.
