Re: TC33D won\'t start

Well I agree on the fact that it is the lights being on when trying to start. Fuse blew on me today when i tried to start it. I did leave the lights on last night when i shut her down. It has never failed me until trying to start when lights turned on.

I don't believe it's the fuse or the cost of the fuse that is so frustrating about this "problem." My frustration the time it happened to me was not remembering where the fuse panels were located, and as a result, spending far more time than I should doing research until I remembered to remove the instrument panel. Since that time, I make sure all my lights are out and the preheater cycle is completely over before I hit the starter. I've had no problems lately. If I had one thing to ask NH for, it would be a nice big placard saying "Remove Instrument Panel to Access Fuses" somewhere in clear view. Or maybe a removable placard stuck over the face of the instrument panel from the factory so the new owner would have to remove the placard and "brain-implant" that bit of info when the tractor was first delivered. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Re: TC33D won\'t start

I looked on TBN before I called the dealer and removed the instrument panel to look for the fuses............The fuses on my TC33D weren't there !! It has a block under the hood on the right firewall...........An earlier thread mentioned a blown 8.5 amp fuse so I never went any further down the panel after checking the 8.5's.................Perhaps I should have or at least read up on it in the manual but by then it was raining and getting dark and I was really missing my 25 year old Kubota with it's push the clutch in one and only safety switch.............TOM

Re: TC33D won\'t start

OOPS! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif There I go again... assuming that the TC33D's fuses are located the same place as the Class III's. Even so, I just wish the fuses were more clearly marked. Most vehicles (autos, trucks) have a cover over the fuses with a map of fuse function to location. Those covers are normally clearly marked. ...but actually, nothing is "clearly" marked when it's night-time, raining, you don't have a flashlight, and your eyes are suffering from old age like mine. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Re: TC33D won\'t start

TOM:

Don't have it scanned, but if you'll send me an e-mail/private message with a fax #, I can fax it to you either today or tomorrow.

Re: TC33D won\'t start

Tom:

Faxed it this morning. Let me know if you did not get it. I had my dealer fax me the info on the Class IIs as mine is a III. However, he didn't have time to dig and see if there was a battery replacement advisory for the IIs. Hopefully, this will at least get your dealer close.

When he did my 300 hour service this spring, due to the blown fuses. The notice on My TC45D indicated they were to replace battery (he also changed fuel solenoid at same time). Not sure if same applied to the IIs.

Re: TC33D won\'t start

if you continue to have a blown fuse there is a 10 amp breaker that you can use that is available from Napa or car quest. Buss makes it I do not have the number with me but if I remember I will post it for you . New holland does not provide the fuse but they do provide the info on it.
