I bought a new TC33DA with SuperSteer & industrial tires about a year ago. I expected to be able to make tight turns without slipping.
However, I generally cannot turn tight even on dry grass without the front wheels slipping forward. This happens even with FWD engaged.

How do I test if the FWD is engaging at all?
The FWD control lever, unlike any of the other levers, has almost no resistance when I push it forward. Is this normal?

Tom all tractors don't turn well when locked in 4WD. Your SensiTrak should automatically take the tractor out of 4WD if the handle is left in the auto position so you will be less likely to damage your turf when turning. 4WD is for traction, not turning.

When in a turn your outside tires always turn at a faster rate than the inside tires.

If you separate your brake pedals, the right one will allow you to stop the right rear while turning with the cruise control maintaining your speed.

The supersteer option turns the wheels so much that there is a lot of lateral push on them. If you don't have a loader or front weights mounted, it doesn't take much to slide the fronts when the rears are pushing straight ahead, especially if the rear traction is a little uneven.

There is a steel colored, C-shaped FWD lockout lever to the left rear of the driver's seat. If this lever is down, FWD is locked out. If it is up, FWD will kick in automatically if the FWD lever is to the AutoSense position. If it is up, and the FWD lever is in full-time, FWD will always be active.

Also, look under the tractor and follow the linkage, you may have lost a pin/bolt somewhere.

I have a TC40D with SS. I find that my tractor turns better when it is NOT locked into 4wd. I have also found a little fault in the 4wd lever. If I lock in the 4wd all is well. When I want to disengage the 4wd I first moved the lever on the control panel then I have to get off the seat and move the shifter on the gearbox back to the disengaged position. I guess that the spring is strong enough to completely disengage the 4wd.
