Price Check TC35D Pricing

Need some help. Pretty well decided on a 35D w/16LA. Got a quote from a local (Hendersonville, N. C.) dealer at $20,262 before tax including turf tires w/ballast. How does this sound? Also, I've got approx. 20 acres of mostly grass to mow and the dealer recommended a 72" Taylor-Way rear discharge finishing mower at $1900. My land is level to gently sloping. Any experience, or alternative recommendations? Also need a post-hole digger. The NH literature shows no post-hole digger for the 35D, but the dealer says this is incorrect and that the NH 906 will work. Anyone with experience on this?
I've priced the comparable green and orange tractors with local dealers and there is little difference between them. I'm about ready to buy, but would appreciate some feedback so as to avoid buyer's remorse. Thanks.

PMH, howdy neighbor, I went the same way here back in Febuary and picked-up my TC35d with 16la and HD bucket for right at 19k from Senter tractor in Raleigh. They had a good on hand stock then, can't speak for right now though.

I really like the features on the TC35D and have had just a few minor problems. See "no joy joystick". got 40hrs on her and can't complain. The dealer was a 7 on a 1-10 scale. I told them the price I was willing to give and they came to me. There's a good dealer over in Tenn too that was willing to work with me.

I think your price sounds more like a TC40D price. Gary's price is about right. I paid $21,900 for my TC45D + 16LA (HD Bucket) + single remote in February 2001. Put a little pressure on your dealer to sharpen his pencil at least $500 less. Good luck. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif/w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

TC35D Quoted $13,500 R4 Sync-Rev Trans / $3400 16A Loader ($2800 Woods)and $1750 for Woods RD7200 side or rear discharge. $1,700 more for hydro. Is Draht control standard on NH?

Was just quoted $17,500.00 for TC35D with 16 loader and heavy bucket. Said he could throw in 2 extra valves on rear for $400. This had R4's on it and was the newer darker blue. If I remember, this is a tad higher than when this model first arrived here in the Pacific Northwest. But not by much. Very capable machine.

Cannot help much on the pricing since I have not priced in over a year but I remember from the NH pricing sheets that true "draft control" (as defined and used on larger tractors and as discussed in a different thread around here somewhere) is an option on NH boomers.
