Thank you Chris! I looked and looked for that thread and didn't find it because I thought it was an older thread and just ignored it when it came up in the search. That thread has all the cooler configurations in photos even if we did ramble on a bit in the middle of the thread. Lots of good info there.

I had a file with all the main problems that the Class III tractors had, and the threads that I considered to contain the definitive descriptions and solutions. Then the forum format changed a few years ago and none of the links worked - oh well!

My TC35D just turned 1000 hrs, had to buy oil cooler in 2008 and now another. Local NH dealer wanted $331+tax; found it for $222 including tax and shipping at Superior Cooling Systems.... there were several online sources starting at $179+ if you google the oil cooler part # 87301196. Pinching every penny these days!

I think it's sad that you had to buy the 1st cooler, much less the 2nd. I'm thankful that my older TC45D has the more rugged cooler before the newer models changed. It's a real case of penny-wise and pound-foolish in the later tractors. I hope this new cooler is a permanent solution for you.
