TC40 vs TC45

Have you actually seen the quick-attach loader, Jay? It's listed as an option, but I have yet to actually see one on the 7308 loader or the larger 16LAs or 32LAs. That's why I'm so curious.

Hi Jim:

No, I haven't seen one. Dealer tried to talk me into one, but I don't think I'll ever have anything else on the loader outside of the bucket.

From what he said, they have had one in and he has a few more on order [he moves quite a few Boomers]. It's supposed to work alot like the Great Bend setup where you pull one lever and it moves the pins out for you. Then you just back out of the loader.

I'll keep you posted and I should see my guy this weekend. I'll ask him some more about it.

Best Regards,
Jay

Jim, ATI quik tach makes skid steer compatible quick attachments for many tractors. You can even buy an adapter to weld onto your old bucket to make it a quick attach. As I recall the Quik Tach was about $500.00. Kubotas larger compacts have this as an option at the time of purchase. Check out Carvers impements for a little more info about the ATI Quik Tach, Rat....

Thanks, D-J. I'll see my dealer on Fri. or Sat. and I'll ask him too. Maybe he has one that has come in recently.

Thanks, Rat. I'm currently only interested in the NH brand because I'm sure my dealer would probably give me a trade-in on my bucket. If not, the ATI-QT makes a lot of sense as a possibility and a bargaining point.

the Kasco company also makes a quick attach for the 7308, and 16-17la loaders, they also have a plate that pins into the bucket so no welding a plate to your bucket is required.

Jim, just in case your misunderstanding or I'm misunderstanding, I am talking not only about a quick attachment mechanism like both John Deere and Kubota have as options, but a QuiKAtach for Bobcat (skidsteer) type buckets. It allows for so many more types of buckets, augers, grapples, forks, 4N1's rakes, blades, trencher you name it, Bobcat makes so many types of items you could attach. Your limiting factor is the hydraulic flow to run the larger hydraulic attachments like a jack hammer. I would be looking at the 72" 4N1 for my future tractor. The Bobcat implements are very heavy duty which is good and bad. Bad because it makes them heavier. I have seen only one tractor available with it right from the manufactuer and that is the Kubota L48. Rat...

I'm starting to get the picture here.... This is the same setup that someone was going to post photos of, but they seem to have lost interest in this forum since they got their tractor. Do you know if there is a website? URL? I'd like to see this setup so I could do some long term planning. I'm really most interested in the auger attachement. I have a rear auger, but no down-pressure kit. I'm in no hurry, since my current setup does everything I need to do right at this moment.

Thanks for the info. A quick-attach adapter that fits the current bucket sounds pretty good, but do they have other attachments that fit on the adapter or do you just use only normal attachments? Keeping the NH loader "box" is a definite plus since I have also invested in the NH cutter bar for my loader.

Hey Rat, I did a search and came up with these websites:

http://www.bradco.com
and
http://www.get-attached.com

The Bradco site shows Bobcat attachments and the ATI (get-attached) site shows miscellaneous equipment, but nowhere did I see the attachment called "quick-tach" which I have heard repeatedly in several people's posts. I did see that the ATI site said they have products for Bobcat & Kubota, but didn't mention other tractors. I'm still digging for info here and would like to see a picture or a link to somewhere showing this "quick-tach" mounted on a tractor or in use. Thanks for the info. Any other ideas of where to look would be appreciated. /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

I tried Kasco.com to find the company rickyl25 mentioned and that turns out to be dogfood...Woof! Woof!/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif That company must be a different URL.
