yes moved the range the PTO doesn't work
First. check ALL your fluid levels. Top off where needed with
correct fluids.
Obvious question, but I'll ask it anyway: will the tractor start easily?
If so, let it idle for awhile.
PTO should work. In neutral, low range or high range.
If it starts (PTO must be off and Range must be in neutral to start).
Once started, engage the PTO (push the PTO lever all the way forward)
see if the PTO is spinning. Yes it spins or no it does not.
Depress the brake pedal to disengage the "emergency" brakes.
Push the range lever all the way into low or high. (see if you have a
rabbit (fast) or turtle (slow) switch. Pick one and engage it.
Advance the hand throttle to maybe 1500, depress the gas pedal.
Sorry if the above sounds too basic. But many problems are caused by
something basic. Just making sure all your bases are covered.
