TwinWillows,
Very nice set-up. The TC40 is a great machine.

I guess you will be using this in your peach and blueberry operation? How is that going, do you run it as a full time business or still work in Civil Engineering?

( Would you put it on both hoses? That would make sense I guess...

What does the restrictor look like? I don't know that I've seen one yet. )

The restrictor orifice is normally a .030" hole in a solid disc inserted into a hydraulic fitting. It's M-F and fits easily into the line at the quick-connect. Only one is needed since fluid flows in both hoses anytime you position the cylinder. When you put one in, you need to put an additional 90° fitting. The jet of fluid created by the orifice can cut the walls of the hose internally. By putting the 90º fitting in-line, the jet hits the wall of the fitting. My orifice was $4.95 each and the 90° fitting will be (should be) under $10. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

It is a nice machine that's for sure. Just takes a while getting used to the Hydro & ranges. Really like the hi/lo on the joystick! The engineering is paying for starting the farming. In 8 or so yrs hope to be developed enough to quit the engineering. We'll see.

Is the solid disk your describing something that screws in or does it slip inside the quick connect somehow?

Right control pod w/the control handles for the 3 remotes. Since it’s all factory it looks great & is a smooth looking addition.

7 ft box blade. This is wide enough to cover the tires plus about 7” on each side. It’s Cat 1 & Cat 2 so it’s nice & heavy. When lowered the ripper shanks do a great job busting up the hard dirt.

Very nice. Thanks for the pic. I have one set of remotes on mine now. Just wanted to make sure of where the other two would go if I decide to add. Again, thanks for taking the time and posting the pic. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Just to clarify, were you able to get the tractor with the remotes already installed from the factory - or did your dealer install them?

Thanks.

Andy
