Well thanks for all the info,it really helps.I have had a few rounds with the local dealer and its like haggling for a car.I would like to buy from this dealer it's the only one close. It's already been made very clear if i buy it anywhere else i go to the back of the line for everything and anything i buy such as attachments will be at a max list. Like a $200.00 dollar item will cost $500.00.All that
BS does not bother me that mutch if I can get the right price.I seen a lot of BS and walked through alot, that's life.I'am just stuck with these people.
I don't want anymore info on my profile because of where i am
and this dealer.I know some of the things they are throwing at me are not right but I don't want to be pinpointed as to location and increase my problems with them.

Very well put spencer200. A good deal is all perception. If you feel good about your purchase, it's a good deal!

Buy-one, your local dealer sounds like the MOB.

Personally, I would very leary of working with a dealer that threatens to charge me "max list" and "end of the line" if I buy a tractor elsewhere. Interesting sales technique.

Spencer200 - Thank you for your continuing support of this forum.

Is there 48 month financing funded by NH corporate available for the 45DA at 0%?

Anonz, my dealer (who has yet to let me down) assures me that I can utilize the 0%, 48 month program for the TC45DA that I am purchasing this week. I am still waiting to receive the application forms and other paperwork that will confirm it, however. If and when I do, perhaps I'll get the chance to post again.

Where are you located in Texas? There several good dealers that could be recommended, but it wold be helpful to know exactly the area you in.

With the data in this post (thanks spencer200 on the rebates), I had a very good discussion today on a "fair price" for a 45DA configured as above. There were only two surprises:

1) There was a 2/16/04 price sheet that superseded the data I had on the 16LA. The new cost was $2218.

2) The dealer indicated that shipping was a cost that he absorbed and was 394 for the tractor and 113 for the FEL(from an invoice of a recent 45DA).

While I am happy where he and I are coming out on the price of the rig, I was wondering if delivery was FOB his destination or Georgia. We had a bit of fun ribbing each other over how "you're asking a lot junior". (yea - he really called me junior). When I drop off the downpayment tomorrow he'll probably want to pull my chain one more time -- I'm just thinking what I can respond with.

Deal ended up with $1000 over cost with me paying for a "predelivery charge" of $200, a FEL installation charge of $150 (which doesn't make much sense when this is a "loader ready" rig), $50 to install the two remotes and the delivery charges. $1461 of "rebates" helped a bit.

Tomorrow I'll be a bit poorer, but the better half is looking forward to the new baby as am I.

Loader ready simply means that the hydraulics are set up. He still needs to un-crate the loader, assemble it, attach the sub frame to the tractor etc. $150 is cheap! I'd expect it's a few hour job....
