Any recommendations on brands/styles ?

Depends on what you are doing and what you want. If you are doing a lot of hay and want the best, get a rotery tedder. If you do a little hay and want something to do the job for a good price get a reel type tedder.

I've never used a Fella, but by reputation, they're supposed to be one of the best.

Thanks for the suggestions . I just got a Sitrex 2gl-302 . 2 basket ,10 foot width. It should do the trick. thanks again for the info.

I like Kuhn...remember to match your tedder size to twice your cutter and rake...so, optimally, you can ted two rows at the same time

The motion on those old tedders sure is interesting. They really were duplicating the motion of laborers using pitchforks to turn the hay.
