Has anyone replaced their 3ph turnbuckles with the telescopic stabilizers? What older model tele's will fit the B2920 series? I know a number of members did this to their B7510's and B7610's. Are the turnbuckle stabilizers the same on a B7610 and a B2920?

I suggest you talk with you Kubota dealer to get the correct parts. That's what I did and the cost for the telescopic stabilizers and associated parts was about $130.
It is the best money I have ever spent on my tractor (B7800). I can change implements now in about 5 minutes without killing my back!

Dr Bob--

Do you have the part numbers? I just purchased a B7800 and am looking to install telescopic stabilizers.

Thanks

Pat

I have a B2620. Not sure what you guys are referring to.

I want to know... I want to know. (saw that on a commercial)

I use Pat's quick hitch. Would like a Hydro top and side link.

What is the tool you are referring to?

I do not have the part numbers. Just tell the dealer (I did it by phone) that you want the parts to convert the turnbuclkes on your tractor to the telescopic stabilizers that are used on the 2910 and they can order the parts for you. As I said, mine cost $130 two years ago. It was worth every cent!
Interesting: my manual for the B7800 covers the 2710 and 2910 with the telescopic stabilizers (7800 has turnbuckles). I am suprised that a 2920 does not have the the telescopic stabilizers already!
Hoosier: the B7800 comes with turnbuckles that adjust the tension and width of the lower lift arms. They are a pain becuase you have to turn them to loosen them to take an implement off and them turn them to tighten them after you have installed the new implement. With time they get difficult to turn and mine finally started stripping out the threads. The telescopic lower arm adjusters use a simple metal pin with multiple holes to adjust the arms. Look in your manual under adjusting the lower lift arms and one of the other models probably has a picture of the telescopic stabilizers.

A simple quick and cheap fix is to replace the pin attaching the turnbuckle to the 3 pt. lift arm with a lynch pin. Just remove the pin, spread out the arm and attach and replace the pin. Saves a lot of time, and I seldom have to turn the turnbuckles in or out. Most of my implements are standard width. I did have to drill the holes out a very small amount for the lynch pin. I think they are 3/8" and the pins they replace are apparently some slightly smaller metric size.
