Sam, what made the garage door a pain? I have only repaired my doors and read the 'theory' of installing one. Does yours have a low ceiling 'frame'?

The floor looked like they tried rolling/spreading the material when it was too dry (or too thin).

The instructions were written for 3 different doors with other options as well. We had many extra parts. Figuring it out was kinda like doing your taxes. Our application made it difficult as well. I did purchase the low headroom kit for this door.

The floor sealent must be thinned to aquire a smooth finish.

Hi Sam,
I think your floors are looking better. Good to have someone who works through the issues on their work with you.

I'm interested in what you can tell me about the copper headers. It looks like you formed the side ports (instead of Tees). I've heard of this, but don't know the details.

Thanks,
Steve

The PEX manifolds will have anti hammer devices on each right side and a one inch supply lines coming in on each left side. The 3/4" outlets will a short PEX to a ball valve then connect to the previously installed supply lines.

How did you form the side Tees, or did you have the tube fabricated?

Steve

Sam, I think the Kure n Seal sets up like a layer on top of the concrete (I didn't take the time to look it up). We've found that a penetrating sealer, like Ashford, works much better. The Ashford is supposed to get shinier over time. The layer on top kind tend to wear away over time. The Ashford isn't as shiney in the beginning, but can be waxed for the same effect (until the shine comes)

We finally got some rain but it was a bit extreme like much of the weather occurring now a days. We have had up to nine inches in a few hours and still no flooding at our rental home. I have been checking out the alternative news and media. One You Tuber called dutchsinse‬‏ http://www.youtube.com/my_subscript...aAe0p7W4S9XWTkl6g5banB2-WGIqZ8ppnRU6TGgo&as=1 has been providing very accurate forecast of this extreme weather also the science behind these earth changes from Sky Shields of the basement team at LaRouche PAC Pandemics and Solar Cycles. We suffered minimal damage to our driveway due to this extreme weather. We also were very close to having our Lock and Dam 14 facility from being overrun by this surge of water.
We are busy building the walls to enclose our utility room. We use our laser to get the walls in the correct position. All the angles have been fun too. Our goal is to have a finished wall to permanently install the one inch copper supply lines through our whole house filter and into the indirect hot water heater and both the hot and cold manifolds to get a portion of the water system operational. We plan to bring up the shower, toilet, washer machine, laundry sink, both hose bibs and window kitchen sink. We will get the island sink and other bathroom going later. We are moving in before the end of May ready or not. I hope to have some sort of kitchen going but we will see. I hate schedules but the sooner we get out of this rental the better.

Wow -compound curves look like a pain to frame!

Ok, edjumikate me: why the 3 pipe manifold to the roof vent? 1 pipe obviously is a trap (laundry?).

Good luck on the move date!

We have a gray and black system. We are venting the kitchen window and island sinks in the center 2" and venting the bathroom black and gray on the other two 2" all going out the roof.

Wow, those angles must take some patience. That huge light looks like it would give quite a tan :D Good luck on getting a bunch done before move in time.
