You know fellas, right now my gullies are washin'.:cool2: It hasn't rained this hard here in a long time. If I had my new ponds/dams ready to go, they'd be half full by now. It's been a long time since we had a good toad strangler like this one.

I keep checking the radar and hoping. I figured you must be getting a good rain, but it's all moving northeast and staying west of us. I got about 0.04" last night and about 0.14" so far today.

I've had about 2" total, but it came in two big downfalls. This map shows that Cooke County has had quite a downpour. You have some coming your way, but probably no more than 1/2" to 3/4".

Quarter inch today.

The real storm is supposed to hit tonight. Anything is appreciated, but I haven't had a really heavy downpour in about a year and a half. LET IT RAIN!!!!!!

We finally had some thunder and lightning and a pretty good shower. I figure for the day we're a little a half inch now.

Jim say it isn't so!!! I can see "Occupy Eddies" on FOX news now

Eddie will be OK with it as long as it's a women only demonstration.

Charlie

Well, he does have a "pig magnet"

Boy, I fell right into that, didn't I?:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:

Yeah Bird and I took a "cheap" shot!

I know I had an inch of rain by 5:30pm yesterday evening, but haven't looked at the total this morning yet. Jim was spot on, a frog floater for sure, drizzle all day then a gully washer. One heck of a light show too!! Lost power for about a split second, almost thought I'd have to call Bird for Power company mediation advice:D Wonderful rain.

By the time it was all over, I figure I got barely over an inch; maybe 1.01" of rain. And our electricity never went off.

The 2 day total ... 4.9" here in Atoka County. I poured out an inch and 3/10ths yesterday morning and 3 and 6/10ths this morning.

We got caught out in that storm last night ... both Riley and I came in soaking wet and cold. The lighting was really weird almost low lying and seemed to want to chase us. We where darn glad to get to the house. Never lost power.
