"Way north" is simply a colloquial manner of speaking. Meaning a general direction, but not a specific location. Could mean a few miles or thousands of miles. As in Huntsville, or Tyler?
Sorry the "way north" had me wondering...I wasn't sure how far a "way" was in your area. Everything is bigger in Texas, right?
Enjoy the game.
All the best,

Just E. Tx, not deep E. Tx............and are you in East Texas, or Deep East Texas?

Predicting 65% chance of snow (whatever that means) between Austin- San Antonio-Kerrville triangle. Sometime next week. But where in Texas did it get over 6 inches of snow?
lol....when is I-35 not a fun drive??"Heavy mixed precipitation possible Hill Country, I-35 Corridor, and Coastal Plains. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph."
This is what I got on my weather notice. The map is indicating I'm included. I'm just a rock-throw SW of San Antonio. Lots of elevated roadways over small creeks and rivers. I35 should be a fun drive. They don't salt roads around here. The good part is it should warm above freezing this afternoon.
Same here. Steady wind is what brought the chill. I still worked outside, layered up, beenieWe have had more clouds than expected today so even in the mid 50's it felt chilly.
