Nothing but rain here yesterday. Windy all day today and stayed in the mid 40s. Supposed to drop below freezing tonight then warm up tomorrow. I guess winter is over for us. 😏

As in Huntsville, or Tyler?;)

Sorry the "way north" had me wondering...I wasn't sure how far a "way" was in your area. Everything is bigger in Texas, right?

Enjoy the game.

All the best,

Peter
"Way north" is simply a colloquial manner of speaking. Meaning a general direction, but not a specific location. Could mean a few miles or thousands of miles.
And no, I did not enjoy the game. Ohio has a good team. Tx shot themselves in the foot. 😭
Regards

But where in Texas did it get over 6 inches of snow?

way north of you....
way north of me.....:giggle:
I think the band of snow started in Justin/Dallas/Mckinny/Allen/Paris type west to east line
and the further north of that the heavier the snow fell.
Planning on teen temps starting Sat or Sun according to weather guys, ending by Thurs next.
Bundle up and bring in the fire wood!

Supposed to be in the 60s today. Headed to the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo. Should be a nice day to walk around before the rodeo tonight. It is the Ranch Hand rodeo, always a fun one to watch.

"Heavy mixed precipitation possible Hill Country, I-35 Corridor, and Coastal Plains. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch possible. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph."

This is what I got on my weather notice. The map is indicating I'm included. I'm just a rock-throw SW of San Antonio. Lots of elevated roadways over small creeks and rivers. I35 should be a fun drive. They don't salt roads around here. The good part is it should warm above freezing this afternoon.

lol....when is I-35 not a fun drive??
Stay dry, stay warm, eat lots of comfort food and take the day off as much as possible!

E,Tx finally got up to 32*, wind @ 13-15mph, feels like 23*. But no rain etc so far. Was pretty
dang cold last night and the wind made it worse. The sun is out and nice clear sky's.

Used to hunt geese around Eagle Lake/El Campo area and it would be cold and windy, really cold
and windy!
But never saw any snow in that area. I can imagine what a headache it will be.
