Scott, if my wife saw them kids, I'd have more work to do:laughing: I was reading an article the other day, they where saying that goats are selling better (at a better %) than beef? what is the market??

.

Thanks, Western! Happy Valentine's Day to you too!

Goats have been selling high for a couple of years now. When I am at the auction barns, I am always amazed at the prices, as well as just how many head are being run thru.

After digging water lines all morning and clearing brush by hand all afternoon I was paying for it last night and there was no relief with Advil. Every muscle was so sore. My wife suggested an epson salt bath, I really did not think it would help but after soaking for 20 minutes all the soreness was gone and I slept good. - wow! There is not much on the internet but I'm a believer now. Dose anyone else know about muscle soreness and Epson salt or am I a late learner?

You're welcome ladies!

FG, What is the "attraction" for the goat market? meat, fun?? If it is a long term prognosis, then I would consider it, if I had more land, I'd just get a few cows.

Brandi, that will make a special day for "granny":D

Don, my parents and grandparents have used it as long as I can remember. It is wonderful on the feet too. After a long day on your feet, try a foot salt bath/soak works great for swollen ankles and softens the pad as well.

You're a late learner! I've soaked my feet in Epsom salt water, after having to stand on concrete, and the relief is amazing. Learned that one from my grandmother!

edit: Western and I must have been typing at the same time!

Western; Looks like meat and milk goats are going high, currently. I'm not much into the smell of goats, but seeing the market, it had me thinking about it seriously. Too many coyotes and other things keep me out of it though, besides the smell.
