Thanks Jim, I will use standard fence on 3 sides, but was considering something on the one side I could easily remove, to get the tractor in and out ,( backing in and tilling my way out)

Jim, does the netting keep out all critters (except for the raccoons)?

Don, after putting the netting up, we discovered small holes down next to the ground. One of my cantaloupes was half eaten one night and I set a trap with the opening right at the hole in the netting with the remains of the cantaloupe as bait. The next morning I had a possum in the trap. So I never established what made the holes in the net, but losing more veggies was never a problem after that. I never repaired the small holes, so I'm sure critters could come in if they wanted. I suspect that the 'coons got so much to eat at my deer feeder that they weren't hungry enough to test the fence.

Fellas, I'm wondering if we will even get a Spring, or just jump into summer?? The weatherman said this front will blow through, but the result will be warmer temps?? Today will be incredibly nice, then tomorrow is in the 80's. Be nice to have a month of 50* nights and 70* day's. I just hope the "Texas Heat" thread does not have to be revised, we don't need a repeat.

I have also noticed allot more "bugs" than I saw last year, the moths are booming right now.

I think we just about skipped Winter; don't know yet about Spring. This morning I put a fresh coat of Thompson's Water Seal on the plywood "deck" I put on my little 5' x 8' mesh floor trailer. Gotta help grandson move Saturday and the forecast high of 65 sounds pretty good for a moving day.:)

That is something else I need to do to the deck. With the recent draughts we have(are having) I did not pressure wash my decks last year and truly need washing and resealing.

What do you use to reseal it? I'll be doing mine again in the next month or so, but it's pretty quick and easy to apply Sherwin-Williams Deckscape with a roller.

Bird,
I bought a gallon of Thompson's water seal a couple of years ago. I am going to use it this year.
