The NWS forecasters just keep back pedalling. We've certainly had plenty of wind the last 2 days and when I was out today, I actually saw some visible mist on the windshield a couple of tines. Don't know if it's actually going to rain or not.

The chances for my area keep changing slightly, but from what I've heard since Sunday, East of Dallas will get the "brunt" of this one. Looking to the Southwest, some mean and nasty clouds moving in, the kind that reach to the sky, sooo, thinking someone will get a good "knock-around" out of this one.

Yesterday we were in the 4-5" area and today they're forecasting 4-6" over 4 days.

They seem kind of confused as to what to expect. I've had clients in a panic over their old roofs and seeing if I can do something before the storm hits. LOL

Looks like right after this storm hits, we are in for an even bigger one on Tuesday. With the ground already saturated, this might finally give me some water in my pond!!!!

Well, it started out this morning at 7:00 AM with a temperature of 65 F. The front moved through (blew through) and brought less than 1/10" of rain and the temperature dropped to 43 F with gusting northerly winds. We're getting enough sprinkles to make it miserable with the wind. I don't need much excuse to stay inside, so this in plenty for me go into couch tater mode.:D

:D:laughing::thumbsup: "Couch tator mode", no kidding, I listened to the forecast last night and got the boat ready just in case:D But so far, it has been like a politician, allot of wind, a few drops of rain, but hasn't done much.

Just makes me wish I had mowed the yard yesterday:(

They've changed the forecast again, we're now in the 6-8" range for rainfall. Supposed to rain through Monday. Everything is either green or blooming now. No warm season grasses yet but this rain is sure going to help.

It was 70 degrees then the cold front blew across our hill at 5:03PM at mile 1 of my 3 mile run. At mile 2.75 the rains came. Now the rains have kind of stopped, 56 degrees F. ( about 1/4" total). ahhhh. I have no grass after last year, but the wild flowers will love the rain.
