Left Monday and returned this afternoon from quick trip, for one day meeting, in SE Asia. 1 1/4" in both rain gauges at the ranch. We are super saturated so both tractors may be parked for a few more days. Hoping to get some rye grass planted before Thanksgiving.

Don,
Where I bought mine just calls it a bucket grapple. How about "Texas Grapple Shootout" for the thread title?

Hey,you guys are not helping my "Grapple Envy" Condition. Where's the sympathy and concern?

Charlie have you seen the grapples in this auction? Some of the 66" grapples sold for $800-$850 in Houston yesterday. They have another auction in Fort Worth coming on December 4th. (Maybe Ron can add a trailer) They have larger grapples but I want one between 48-54" I can handle 66" but is a bit wider than I want, but if the price is right......
If you decide to look at these grapples before you bid please take a few pictures, and find out what kind of connections.

I bought a Ft. Worth Richie Bros auction grapple. I couldn't understand how I won the bid for a 6 footer for $950...............then I checked the photo again and saw it had the cylinders on the inside of the grapple arms...........not in the middle. Too much bending forces in this configuation. It really was a lite duty grapple. I sold it for a profit and bought the one in my thread. The narrower grapples with one cylinder are a bargain at these auctions.

Thanks Brandi, that's the kind of compassion and help I need. All the great pics of everybodies grapples are no help at all. And the ones that show the tractors & grapples in action are just too much for me to deal with.

Now I have to start hanging out at auctions, I hope that will help.
