I had some of that fast food chili once. The meat? had square corners. Made me wonder where it came from.
I put potatoes that I have chopped up and pre cooked some in the micro on a plate covered with plastic wrap.
Local butcher shop ground beef browned in a pot with onions, chili, salt, and pepper.
Also use pepper chunks, home canned whole tomatoes to cook down as the liquid and dark kidney beans.
Then dump in more chili seasoning to taste as cooking.
No real recipe. I just call it Ron's chili.
I love potatoes. They add bulk to the chili and pick up a great flavor from the other components.
