It was 37 here this morning. Didn't realize it was gonna get that low. Gotta bring a few plants in tonight.

Charlie, you did about as much driving yesterday as I did. We went south through Dallas to Hillsboro, had lunch there at the Lone Star Café with daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, and son-in-law's nephew, then brought daughter and granddaughter back through Ft. Worth to drop granddaughter off to spend the night with a friend. Then we'll get both of those little girls today to spend the night here, then granddaughter's friend's mother will come visit and get her tomorrow. Son-in-law has to work 3 days this week, so he'll come up Wednesday evening, I've got to cook turkey and ham, teach 10 year old granddaughter to make deviled eggs, etc., then the other daughter and son-in-law will be here Thanksgiving Day, and Sunday (week from today) they all go home and life returns to normal around here (I hope).

Bird-- That sounds like quite a milk run you had, but it's great that you will get some quality time with family. Our oldest son, daughter-in-law, 2 Grandsons, and a Granddaughter are coming out Thurs. early afternoon. We're sure looking forward to them getting here. We'll have Thanksgiving Dinner a little after noon and a lot of visiting and quality times with the young-un's. Their going to spend the night and then go to Canton to our DIL's Father's to go out and cut down their Christmas Tree. That has become a neat Family Tradition for them.

With the 3 Grandkids 4-8 years old and doing most of the cooking(Denise is in charge of the Antipasto) we'll need some R&R after they leave. I just want not to sleep through most of the football games.

We wish everybody a Happy & Safe Thanksgiving. Be very careful if you are driving over the holidays.

Charlie

Kyle, won't the beans produce as long as it doesn't freeze?

it was down to 32 a few nights ago and the tops got froze. I decided to mow them down with the mower because they just get caught up in the tiller. I did leave 1 strip standing in case it doesn't freeze in the next month or so. They already have a few blooms. It was too muddy to till after I mowed. More rain coming tomorrow thru Sunday.
