Back in TX for little over a week.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Bird..........thanks for reminding me.............I forgot to buy Blue Bell. I think I will try a new turkey recipe for Christmas dinner. I just heard on the TV news about bacon wrapped turkey. I missed the details, but it should show up on the internet.Brandi, I wish I'd gotten 1.25" of rain. I did get about .16" night before last, but the lawn needs more. And we're doing a "semi-catered" Thanksgiving ourselves, but ham, turkey, taters, gravy, rolls, apple cobbler, iced tea, plates, etc. from a local BBQ place. But then I've made deviled eggs and peach cobbler (and got ice cream to go with the cobbler), others are bringing cranberry sauce, pecan pie, sweet potato casserole, a mixed fruit salad dish, and I don't know what all else. But there's no doubt the 10 of us will have more than we can eat.
