Our pond is at least 4' down. It hasn't been like this since the 2011 2012 drought. It was maybe 6-7' down then.

But they are saying rain on the way tomorrow morning. KXAN prediction up to 3" for Giddings/Bastrop area.

I'm still trying to figure out where western east central Texas is? Lexington?

WooHoo! 3-1/2" of rain in the gauge this AM. Normally this would result in standing water in the back yard but not this year.
Several close, violent lightning strikes last night and my son got his first time driving in a down pour for a couple miles.

Been raining lite and heavy non stop. Both ponds are overflowing.

Anybody experiencing the eclipse right now? Got really dark in the living room, then I remembered it was scheduled at 11:45 today. Went outside and used the pin hole method to see it was about 30%.

Neat, Practice for next year's near total eclipse.

I knew it was today, but not when. I think was in a windowless room wiring RJ45 connectors at the time. What an exciting life I lead.
