Yes, even though there wasn't a cloud in the sky, it got eerily less bright. Was kind of weird.

The chickens just kept on scratching around for something to eat, so it didn't affect them.

They did, that's why they were scratching around. They're all blind now.

I checked in on it several times, used my welding helmet and dialed in the perfect intensity.

That’s what my brother did. I was mowing and forgot all about the eclipse but I did notice an odd change in the shadows at one point.

Happy Thanksgiving. I was in Colmesneil today for turkey dinner. That is East Texas if you have to look. They had drizzling rain today. They just got their burn ban lifted this week.

It was nice to have a cool Thanksgiving this year. Last several years seems like TG always turned off hotter than normal.
