I heard that lake Ray Hubbard is up 1', but still 7' below normal. Don't even ask about Lake Bridgeport. They"ll soon measure it's shortfall in Empire State Buildings.

Haven't been down to ranch buildings to check rain gauges but, storms arrived here about 4 PM and had "Dish a Network shutdown" rain for quite a while. Woo Hoo!

Gorgeous day in Thicket today (at least for working on a barn) didn't get any rail until driving home to Houston, then light drizzle, a couple of good showers.

Got to play with the box blade for the first time today

Got first posts up - these will be the end of the shed roofs

Also got to use the new auger - sand loam, no rocks, no roots. Drilled like butter.

How is judging where to drill the hole work with your front, center, mounted Danuser auger? Do you have a "spotter"?

It's off center and I can see it perfectly along the right side of the tractor. I will get a picture from the seat tomorrow

We got a small storm before dark, lots of wind, thunder and lightning that gave us 1/2 inch of rain. Another 1/4 inch since then.
Send more, Please. FG, how about a naked rain dance?

Thanks. I have an extra skid steer plate adapter. I think I will beef it up and add a mount where I can peep around the side of the hood and spot post locations. That will be a lot easier than having it on the end of the bucket and easier to change than the BH bucket.

Same here .. 60% chance of thunderstorms .. My wheat really looks good .. No hail, heavy rain and winds to lay it down should be able to combine first week of June

Was going to take the day off and I was bored so decided to weld me up a hay caddy for my disc mower .. Been planning to do that and had bought the materials right down to the spindles, bearings and hubs .. Got the frame done today should be able to finish it tomorrow .. Sure will be nice to never again have to mess with the 3 pt !!!

I did the Cher day thing Saturday night .. Kids was out for a cookout and a few drinks.. Had breakfast Sunday morning and Cher proclaimed her need to do some yard work .. I sat on the porch for a spell and told myself .. Enough sitting so I went to the shop !!!

Best I can tell, looking through a window that rain has blown onto, we've gotten about 1.6" in the last hour or so, and that's more rain than I've gotten in any 24 hour period in more than 2 years.
