When it rains it pours.. I have got 3 and 3/4 inches of rain since Saturday.. a little over 5 and half for this month.. It is those rains that you get just enough to wet and any hay on the ground.. got over 4 and quarter last month.. same quarter to half inch at a time.. July was the same.. So Farmgirl.. if you are dancing,, slow down some and keep it up north for a couple of weeks.. I got a friend that lives 35 miles west of me that got the just opposite.. I just been in right spot of those rain steams coming off the gulf.. Lou

Lou, you are soaked and we are fighting grass fires. Just got back from one - that's two this month already. I think we are living in a dome.

Lou-- Glad to hear from you and glad to hear you have had rain. We got 7/8" a couple of days ago, but the last half of Aug and so far Sept have been pretty dry. We've got a 40% chance tonight and tomorrow, but lately that hasn't been enough to get excited about.

In august, our rain gauge showed a whoppin' .1". So far this month, 0.0". The weatherman keeps promising but not delivering.

Send that rain up to me. The duck pond is down 7 feet. We got a half inch yesterday, but that is a drop in the bucket. Farmgirl needs to seed the clouds while she is up poking holes in the sky. She is not, I repeat, Not doing enough rain dances.

HB BR. Nice cake! I like the way the no icing part looks like freshly plowed dirt, neat idea, I may borrow that.

We had a 30 years water of volleyball 2014 end of season party yesterday. All 19 people in our current players group came. We were about 3 weeks late with the ending party and the pool water had gotten too cool to play but there was plenty food and good company.

3/4" rain last night and looking dark to the south, More to come?

Just passed by us moving west to east. Good 3 hours of soaking rain. Looks like you guys are in the squall line. Enjoy it. Still cool here (70s). Sun is just starting to peak through the clouds. Forecast calls for more rain this afternoon, and again tomorrow and Saturday. Let's hope so. My grass is green. It's very disorienting.
