No rain here yesterday, so no reprieve from the mowing.
I thought you got slighted on the rain. I was watching the radar for you, but yesterday's storm wanted to be mostly east of me and it didn't drop down into Parker County. 3/10ths doesn't sound like much, but it is huge for the end of July.
My wife just made several loaves of zucchini bread (I think 4 of them). She also made zucchini bread muffins that my grandson loves. My zucs and squash are growing so fast that they are tender even when bigger than ideal, but the monster zuc may just be too tough and have big seeds. To celebrate, we watched Jack the Giant Killer last night with my grandson. It seemed appropriate.
BTW: I loved that STOL video. That's definitely a 'dance' between success and landing on your nose. Those bush pilots have nerves of steel and brains of mush.:laughing:
