No rain here, doggoneit!! I finished more seasonal maintenance on the 1050 yesterday morning, then came and pushed the lawnmower around the lawn. after lunch, climbed on the 1050 and began knocking down the weeds, before they can get seed heads. The cool weather grasses are going to seed and turning brown, so today, I'll get into a horse pasture and begin shredding in there. I have to mow in funny patterns the first few times of the season, as I don't want to harm any of my wildflowers! Looks like I was drink when I mowed, but each year, I have a little bigger area and more flowers!
Had to take a short breather when mowing the lawn. A snake was having lunch. I call this one my pet. Been coming into the yard for several years. Will strike if messed with, but will let one get in close and observe. I think he is a black racer, but am not sure. I'm not planning to turn him over to have a look at the underside! Anyone else have a true ID? (See below.)
jinman; Eat whatever you want while you feel like you have an appetite. But as for the garlic, if you are on blood thinners/anti-coagulants of any sort, skip garlic, onions and leeks, as they will thin your blood too, and could lead to bleeding problems.
