Blueriver: Hooray for an unstuck JD! Those pics look like you were trying to get it stuck, BTW. :D

No...I sure wasn't trying ... I hate the ruts left in the field... As I was making the turn the ground started giving way by the fence .. I stopped and tried to back out and that didn't prevail so my only choice was to go for it ... I actually made the turn and was just back on line with the GPS and then she spun out .. Jim was correct ... I put it in park when she quit moving ... Could have been really stuck bad.

I know, that I hate when I get ruts too. Glad you got it out today.

Blueriver I hadn't been to Oklahoma in twenty years,, although all of my brothers and sisters still live within fifty miles radius of McTown,,
on a different note you know you wouldn't have those ruts if you would have waited a week,, the rain would have all run off,, cause Oklahoma is all downhill unless you have to walk somewhere,, then all up hill.. been there,,:)

Sseelhoff you are more than welcome to wash it I meant use it,,:D

Dennis that not good for you.. send it to a pro and let him see if it gone bad.. I will send you an address of a fellow I know that is willing to test it and deposit of it free,, no cost to you.. he just a nice guy really.

Farmgirl all I can say about dancing naked in the field is when it start to rain and you run to the house,, make sure you are dancing in field that has short grass,, Lou..

Now Lou; It is just too hot and sultry here this week to want to wear clothes, just to do a rain dance. Need to try to make this humidity into rain, before it just becomes HOT later. I'll either tempt the raingods into making it rain, or make them send me rain, just to get me to run back into the house, and out of their view!

And since I spent so much time running the brush hog this past weekend, I think all of my fields are short grass, right now!

Whipper had an exciting night, She was fighting off something that could only be described as big and gray. The fight left my bay leaf plant pot broken even though it did not fall over. ???? Last year a coyote was backing her up, maybe he has returned. What happen, and what mystery animal, we will never know.

Edit: We also have one cat MIA, Gray2.

Me 2, Copperheads 0.

Neighbor came a knocking at 8:30 this morning all freaked out. She was reading outside when she saw a snake under her chaise. She took two shots with her 410 and missed both times. My and my shovel got the first, then found and dispatched the second which was a few feet away.

Then the rains came.

Two copperheads and rain is a VERY good day. How long do you think it will be before your neighbor lays on her chaise again?;)

Don: Don't you have a game camera? This is starting to sound like a bobcat.

Gray2 found sleeping in the garden. Yea! I think that little cat has more than 9 lives.

Jim, I do! I did get up last night and walked around. Whipper was still very hyper and was barking aimlessly and ran in whatever direction I shined the light, so I couldn't tell which direction it went. Now where did I put that camera when we moved into this house????? May be quicker to buy a new one. Suggestions?

We got sprinkled on yesterday morning when we headed to Church, and then we had some lite rain when we got out. Went shopping (Wally world) and we got a little too wet trying to get the groceries in the truck. Then the good supprise.....When we got home we had 1.5 in in the gauge. Yeehawwwww!! When it dries out a little it's mowing time again.

Don, my suggestions would be to NOT buy a Moultrie. The picture quality on mine looks like trash compared to Eddie Walker's Stealhcam. I guess that's a left-handed recommendation for the Stealthcam, but maybe others have recent experience.

I think we often tend to go to the exotic when we talk of night-time visitors. There's a good chance your visitor is a stray dog or another cat, maybe a cranky tomcat. Then there's the feral pig. . . That's why a camera comes in handy. It demystifies the whole issue. I don't worry about it anymore around here because 95% of the time it's just a pesky raccoon.:D

Thanks, Jim it gives me a starting point.

I just started a new project and thought "this looks familiar". If you can figure what I'm making out of old fencing you should be a detective. (Hint it is not a wooden ratchet rake.)
