Mine isn't sawed off, but I have my dad's old .22 pump, that was his birthday present when he was a young kid. I also have my Rossi replica of that same .22, that did bought me as a birthday gift, one year. Both are accurate, and lethal, but then, my sights are not off. If you are doing that will with your .22, that is some really nice shooting!

I remember the saying:

Red touch Yellow, Kill the Fellow
Red touch Black, a Freind of Jack.

Your right about that. I killed a Coral snake when I was young and my Mom repeated the red and yellow kill a fellow. I just looked online for photos of Corn snakes andI did, indeed, killed a good snake. When it was in the tall grass, I was really afraid it was a cotton mouth and feared for Booger. I never got a good look at it until I buried it. I never had an inkling a Corn snake would take to the water like a cotton mouth would.
hugs, Brandi

OK folks. When I was out feeding livestock this evening, I did that nekkid rain dance again. It is now clouding up and thundering! If this works 2 nights in a row, I'm going to start hiring myself out to dance! :D

Brandi those diamond mouth cotton back rattle snake,, are most dangerous,, be careful, I don't like snakes of any kind.. People tell me but they kill rats.. and I kill snakes.. so we are both in the killing business.. I also kill Texas rose bush.. along with tallows trees.. now if they eat the rose bush and tallow trees.. maybe I could back off on killing them,, till the roses and tallows are gone.: laughing:. Yehaaaaw! We got 3/4 of an inch yesterday afternoon. Lots of wind, and the power was out for about 2 hours, but we really needed the rain. For once my timing was perfect. I had just fertilized a bunch Bermuda that I had seeded in the front yard right before the storm came in. Now I can skip all the watering that I've had to do.

Yes Lou; You are now officially the "Dancing Mo-chine! :D

Native; Good the hear you got some rain, and in a decent quantity!

It thundered and lightened all night, and has been an on again - off again light rain. Not even as hard as a heavy mist, but I have another tenth in the rain gauge to go with the 0.6 that I got Monday! At least the dust is settled, and the pastures are looking greener! 30% chance this will continue through today, and a predicted high of 89*! I'm not complaining, I'm dancing! :cool2:

So you have 0.7" of rain and I didn't get any this time. Don't you feel bad for giving me a hard time last week when I got some rain?. . . naw, didn't think so.

I'm afraid all the rain I've gotten came out of the bizzness end of a sprinkler. The sky is overcast and dark this morning, but I'm not gonna be silly enough to think it'll do anything but be cloudy for awhile. My best chance was yesterday afternoon, and it didn't happen.:(

Been reading the Tropics for Development,, This what they say.. copied from AccuWeather.com

A large area of disturbed weather over the western Caribbean is moving toward the west-northwest at about 10 knots. The tropical disturbance is centered just northeast of Nicaragua. As of Wednesday morning there is no clear surface pressure in this area right now. The pressure actually rose a few millibars overnight. However in the last several hours, an area of thunderstorms started to blossom, so the pressure might fall once again today. There is still some uncertainty where this tropical system will go once it enters the Gulf Of Mexico on Thursday night. Once this system moves into the Gulf Of Mexico, then it will have the best chance of gaining strength and forming a surface low. Most of the model guidance shows the tropical moisture moves somewhere between the mouth of the Mississippi to the panhandle of Florida. This is likely to happen on Friday afternoon into Saturday. There is a slight chance that the storm system will move slower into the Gulf of Mexico and head towards central Texas. As of right now this is the outlier, with the most probable outcome will be the system moving towards the Florida Panhandle.

Looks like the east coast is going to get some more rain.. Lou
