Well, didn't see any ducks last night, so you must have locked everyone of them up pretty good. Allot of standing water though, something I haven't seen in a while.

Got to ranch yesterday afternoon. Our two rain gauges were full so more than 6" of rain. Have a couple of blown over dead trees so must have been some wind with the great rain.

Rick-- Sounds like you did get a good dose of the storm, but that's Spring-time in Texas. Glad the damage wasn't too severe, and you're like me.........the rain is always welcome. Hope you're home for a while.

Previous rains have gone around us so, we got lucky this time. Glad to have it and never turn down rain of any amount.
Our soil is very sandy so, 1/2" every Wednesday would be ideal.

It's good to have the tractor to fit before you have the building. I had to make my front top windows swing/hinge up to fit the ROPS/sunshade. In 10 years I've only had to replace the windows once.:ashamed:

Officially too small already. It is only 16x32 with 12' shed roof on both sides. Eventually it will be the saw mill shed when I put the larger barn in. Got the plans from Barnplans [Blueprints, Gambrel Roof, Barns, Homes, Garage Workshops, Dormer Window, Cupola]. This is actually a trial run for a 24'x48' barn style cabin.

A door at each end and a good power washer and you have a **** of a "drive through"

Whipper was barking and barking and barking so I got up to check it out. There was a copperhead on the drive ready to strike. When she saw me she grabbed the snake, shook her head violently and broke the snake in half. So why couldn't she have done that 15 minutes ago. . . . back to sleep. . . .

Just swing doors. It is a 10' opening and I will just split it.
