Time to build another pond. Well, past time. Had enough rain today to fill another pond. Today we had 2.5 inches rain with rain forecasts the rest of the week with 60% or greater. I scoped out the perfect spot today when it was pouring. I just have to move a gully over 75 feet or so. Nothing to it but time and fuel $$$$.

Shoot! Wrap is right, but the barn is upside down. I though it was odd digging down to install the gambrel trusses!

Well, the roof sure as he77 wont leak! Now if the "floor" leaks, that may end up being a 1st post for TBN:laughing:

BTW, wont be officially complete until you have a sitting stool by the doors.

I have good clay. Sometimes I miss a root or old stump and use a little Bentonite clay on the seeps.

Looks like we may get some rain for most of the week. The leading front came through this morning with a little over 3/4* and some more on the way.

Good to see South Central Texas get some much need wetness. Hope there is more to come.

I only got a bit more than a quarter inch; maybe .28". But we supposedly still have a chance for more every day this week, so I'm hopeful. And the grass is already in dire need of mowing.

1&1/4 when left this morning for work and it was still raining for couple hours. Been the nice slow rain needed on pastures. Got fertilizer out on all the hay meadows,already have 104rolls put up,its going to be a good year,thank you to the man above...

The lighting shut down our internet service yesterday, just got back up. 4.5" Mon.-Tue. noon and it looks like more may be on the way:cool2:

We got another 1.5 inches of rain overnight. Total of 4 inches since yesterday......noon thirty. Still raining too.

Another 4" of rain today. Tractors parked as this sand turns into quick sand for a few days after this much rain.

Got another 1.75 this morning. 4.35in since Saturday. Good runoff and tanks are filling now. My spring creek is flowing for first time in two years. HS

We got another 1/2 inch since noon, fore a total of 4.5 inches since noon yesterday. Add that to the 7 inches a week or two ago...............and think of all the water that could have filled another pond. What's the word Jinman uses?.............Jeez.

We got another 2.1 today, for a two day total of 5.6." More on the way, so they are saying. But then again, they say a lot of things on our local news.
