I'm not doing any harm, TxDon. However, you pushing things condoned by the pharmaceutical companies, telling you to lower your cholesterol might be harming many. And while you are spouting about your doctor's beliefs, remember, his training, as well as his yearly Continuing Education, is all sponsored and taught by those on the payroll of the pharmaceutical (and indirectly thru them, food) companies. Following such is truly a conflict of interest, not really using one's brain!
Sort of reminds me of the story about the guy and gal out necking behind the bushes. The guy asks, "Would you sleep with me for a million dollars?" To which she relied, "You bet I would!" Then the guy asks, "Would you sleep with me for a quarter?" To which the girl replied, "What do you think I am?"
The guy calmly relied, "Honey, we've already established what you are. Now we are just haggling over the price."
Most doctors have their price, no matter if they admit it or not. And the big companies, be it pharmaceutical or food (Monsanto, Cargill, etc), etc., buy the doctors with luncheons, vacations and many other amenities. Next time you are at your doctor's office, (which seems to be awfully frequently for someone that is as healthy as you claim to be), ask him/her who sponsors their studies.
