It was a really nice day for working outside. Used my new Land Pride stump grinder on some stumps. Doing spring cleanup on the 1 acre with trees next to our finished yard. Hopefully this year it will look more like the finished yard.

Normal temp for today should be 63*. But, it's going to be 20* hotter than normal.
I've got 2 peach trees trying to bud out. Too early. Another freeze is still possible.

Yep it's down right hot today. Still have maybe one more cool snap coming up.

That cool snap has hit! Down right nippy here in E. Texas this morning at 42F and weather predictors only saying it will get to about mid-60's F today.

E. Texas has had some much needed rain. Not sure exactly how much because I've been out of town quite a bit and just got back. But hope you got rain if you needed it. I'm sure you needed it.

Looks like we might have a few more cool evenings and mornings before it gets back into the 80F's next week.

Y'all enjoy that wonderful Texas weather!

It is 43° F at the Athens airport. forecast high is 64° F. We got steady rain over the last 2 days, looks like 1.28". It never ponded in the yard so that was a good thing, just a good slow soaking rain. I am going to disk some pastures that have hog damage, so that should help loosen up the soil.

47 Centex. .39 rain

We finally got a good rain yesterday, almost 1 1/2 inches which is the most we've seen since November. Cool and clear right now at 57 degrees.

Still hoping for more rain soon.

Kyle, we will be getting our new windows soon, they called today to set up a time. I still can't believe how expensive they are. Went with Renewal by Andersen, guaranteed for 20 years so I shouldn't need any more! :)

It was 38 here around 8am when I was walking with the dogs. Only 60 now.

I don't know the rain totals, but we had enough to remove the burn ban.

I'm north of you, but it's still too wet to disc or even put a tractor in a pasture
unless you want huge ruts etc Don't want to make a bigger problem than the
pigs have already made. We got like 8" the other day, and what we got Tues just
keeps it all wet and nasty longer....
